While his primary focus is on serving the Firm, Brian continues to represent employer clients, predominantly as lead negotiator in collective bargaining and as counsel in labor arbitration matters.Ĭonsistent with McNees’ tradition of servant leadership, Brian also serves our communities. Following in the very large footsteps of Sterling McNees, Gilbert Nurick, John Oyler, and David Kleppinger among others, Brian became the ninth person to serve as Managing Partner/Chair since the Firm’s inception in 1935.ĭuring Brian’s tenure as Chair, McNees has pursued a path of geographic and service expansion, as the Firm has opened new offices in York, Devon, Pittsburgh and Frederick and launched multiple complementary professional businesses.

On November 1, 2018, Brian was elected Chair of the Firm. During his tenure, Brian has served as a Practice Group Leader (2002-2017) and Vice Chair of the Management Committee (2005-2018). Brian joined McNees Wallace & Nurick in 1994 as an associate in Labor and Employment Practice Group.
